Calling Rashie

Regular price $82.00 Sale

Made for the ocean and made for you, this gorgeous rashie is like no other. With built in support and removable padding, we've doubled the bust fabric, to provide comfort and confidence. The zip up front protects your decolletage, or zip down lower when the sun is on your back. We've allowed an extra couple centimetres on the back hem to ensure your lower back remains protected from the sun too. This piece is fabulous over your regular one piece, or you can couple it with our botanica reversible bottoms to create the functionality of a sunsmart one piece with the versatility of a bikini. The fabric is 80% recycled polyester, 20% elastane, made in Indonesia. It is cooling and provides UPF 50+ protection when you need it, whilst keeping you warm when the seabreeze is in.

Crafted by the team at Gemi in Bali (sewers Kadek, Narmi and Topik; cut/finish by Sri and Koko) this piece may have the shortest clothing miles in the world. The fibre is created from chipped post consumer plastic bottles in West Java at PT Polyfin Canggih, before being knitted by Harapan Kurnia. We buy the fabric in Bali at their store Bintang Harapan Kurnia and it is printed by Pak Arif on his digital sublimation press in his home business (we love working with other small operators). He is so proud of these stunning prints.

The prints are a collaboration with the wonderful Philippa of @pixienut. I couldn't believe my luck when she agreed to work together. We are both inspired by beautiful Western Australian flora, and these prints are a dream come true. The burden is truly in choosing which print as they are all so beautiful. Banksias on beach sand white... Smith's Beach kelp on salt lake pink... or Geraldton Wax flowers on sky blue.
